<title>Abstract</title> Purpose Patients with dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) deficiency are at high risk for severe and fatal toxicity from fluoropyrimidine (FP) chemotherapy. Pre-treatment <italic>DPYD</italic> testing is standard of care in many countries, but not the United States (US).
