Antimicrobial Activity of Novel Piperazine Molecules

A series of twenty two novel piperazine derivatives were screened for their antimicrobial activities by disc diffusion method and micro dilution method against the ATCC strains of certain selected Gram- positive (MRSA, Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Citrobacter, Shigella flexineri, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) with the standard drugs amongst the synthesized novel compounds RL-308, RL-327and RL-328 showed potent anti bactericidal activities.
