Influence of the Earthward and Tailward Ion Flows on the Lunar Surface Water in the Magnetotail Open
Earth wind, namely the particles from the Earth's magnetotail, is an important source of lunar water. Besides tailward flow incident on the lunar nearside when the Moon is in the magnetotail, there exists earthward flow bombarding the fars…

IMF By influence on fast earthward convection flows in the near-lunar magnetotail Open
We statistically investigate convective earthward fast flows (V⊥ > 200 km/s) using data measured by the Acceleration, Reconnection, Turbulence, and Electrodynamics of the Moon’s Interaction with the Sun (ARTEMIS) mission in the…

Comparative Transcriptome Analysis Reveals Differential Mechanisms of Soft Rot Resistance in Lettuce Grown Under White and Blue Light Open
Specific light wavelengths can affect plant responses to pathogens. In this study, we investigated the soft rot resistance of lettuce grown under different light conditions and analyzed the underlying molecular mechanisms using RNA‐seq dat…

A galactic cosmic ray cavity in Earth-Moon space Open
In regions of the solar system distant from planetary magnetic fields, galactic cosmic rays (GCRs) have generally been assumed to be uniformly distributed throughout interplanetary space. However, our analysis of data from the Chang’E-4 la…

Co-infection status of PCV2 and PRRSV with other pathogens in Porcine Circovirus Associated Disease and Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex Open
PCV2 and PRRSV are involved in a variety of disease syndromes, collectively referred to as Porcine Circovirus Associated Disease (PCVAD) and Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex (PRDC). To explore the effects of other pathogens on porcine P…

Possible Formation Mechanism of Lunar Hematite Open
Hematite, a ferric mineral with diagnostic features in the visible and infrared spectral range, has recently been discovered in the polar regions of the Moon by the Chandrayaan-1 Moon Mineralogy Mapper (M3). The oxygen involving the oxidiz…

Low-frequency Whistler Waves Modulate Electrons and Generate Higher-frequency Whistler Waves in the Solar Wind Open
The role of whistler-mode waves in the solar wind and the relationship between their electromagnetic fields and charged particles is a fundamental question in space physics. Using high-temporal-resolution electromagnetic field and plasma d…

Energetic Neutral Atom Distribution on the Lunar Surface and Its Relationship with Solar Wind Conditions Open
The Advanced Small Analyzer for Neutrals (ASAN) on board the Chang’E-4 Yutu-2 rover first detected energetic neutral atoms (ENAs) originating from the lunar surface at various lunar local times on the lunar farside. In this work, we examin…

Propagation characteristics of hot flow anomalies Open

Hot flow anomalies (HFAs), characterized by heated plasma and flow deflection, are frequently observed near Earth’s and other planetary bow shocks. There are two kinds of HFAs, classic HFAs formed by the interaction of t…

Unusual Location of the Geotail Magnetopause Near Lunar Orbit: A Case Study Open

The Earth's magnetopause is highly variable in location and shape and is modulated by solar wind conditions. On 8 March 2012, the ARTEMIS probes were located near the tail current sheet when an interplanetary shock arrived under n…

Vortex Generation and Auroral Response to a Solar Wind Dynamic Pressure Increase: Event Analyses Open
In this study, we investigate ionospheric responses, including currents and aurorae, to solar wind dynamic pressure (SW P dyn ) sudden increases, which are critical for understanding solar wind‐magnetosphere‐ionosphere coupling. We focus o…
