A Spatially Resolved Evaluation of Accelerated Environmental Aging on Emerging Polypropylene‐Based Photovoltaic Backsheets Using Raman Spectroscopy Open
Accelerated aging was used to assess environmental degradation in emerging co‐extruded polypropylene (PP)‐based backsheets under three different environmental conditions (65°C/20% relative humidity (RH), 75°C/20% RH, and 75°C/50% RH). Alth…
An Electrochemical Method for Alkalizing the Rotor Cooling Water of a Synchronous Condenser Open
Rotor cooling water is a pivotal element for the safe operation of a synchronous condenser in an ultrahigh-voltage grid. To decrease the dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide contents, tremendous efforts have been dedicated to regulating the…
Optimization of Scale Inhibitor Addition Scheme and Control of Phosphorus Content in External Cooling System of Synchronous Condenser Open
Scaling is one of the common problems in circulating cooling water systems, which can significantly affect the cooling efficiency of equipment in severe cases. At present, the problem of scaling is usually controlled by adding water treatm…

Integrated evidence reveals a new subspecies of the genus Seuratascaris (Nematoda: Ascaridomorpha), with characterization of the complete mitochondrial genome Open
Species of Seuratascaris Sprent, 1985 are a rarely reported group of ascaridoid nematodes, parasitising various frogs and toads. In the present study, a new subspecies of Seuratascaris , S. physalis bazhaiensis n. subsp. was described usin…
Water Quality Analysis of a 300 Mvar Large-Scale Dual Internal Water Cooling Synchronous Condenser External Cooling System and Exploration of Optimal Water Treatment Agent Dosage at Different Temperatures Open
The external cooling water system of a 300 Mvar dual internal water cooling synchronous condenser at a certain ultra-high voltage converter station continued to exhibit significant scaling and corrosion, even with regular addition of scale…
Evaluation of Surface Crack Formation in Photovoltaic Backsheets Using Fragmentation and Finite Element Simulations Open
Backsheet cracking is among the most commonly observed degradation modes of photovoltaic modules in the field. Cracks can reduce the ability of backsheets to fulfill their functions, such as protection of the modules from the environment o…
Risk screening of non-native freshwater fishes in Yunnan Province, China Open
Invasive non-native freshwater fishes have long been recognized as a threat to biodiversity conservation and management.Non-native fishes with a high risk of becoming invasive can be identified using risk screening tools. Here, we used the …

• Report on Lake Ecology and Environment in China was released on 27 December 2022. • Systematically revealed the eco-environment of Chinese lakes for the first time. • Identified the significant characteristics and evolution laws of lake …
Microstructure changes during failure of PVDF‐based photovoltaic backsheets Open
The backsheet layer of a solar module provides a safety and environmental barrier to the high voltages running through the photovoltaic (PV) cells and electrical contacts within the core of the module. However, in the past decade, backshee…
Nanomechanical and Fluorescence Characterizations of Weathered PV Module Encapsulation Open
Nanoindentation and fluorescence spectroscopy provide spatially resolved mechanical and chemical characterization for degradation of poly (ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) (EVA) encapsulants aged under accelerated weathering and in field deploye…
Measurement of crack length in width tapered beam experiments Open
The width tapered beam method for measuring fracture toughness has been contemplated for use in measuring the adhesion of photovoltaic materials, is promoted by it being a viable method for use directly on modules rather than to engineered…
3' Processing and termination of mouse histone transcripts synthesized in vitro by RNA polymerase II Open
The highly expressed mouse histone H2a-614 gene is located 800 nt 5' of the histone H3-614 gene. There is a 140 nt sequence located 500 nt from the end of the H2-614 mRNA which has been defined as a transcription termination site for RNA p…
Degradation in photovoltaic encapsulation strength of attachment: Results of the first PVQAT TG5 artificial weathering study Open
Delamination of the encapsulant in photovoltaic (PV) module technology results in immediate optical loss and may enable subsequent corrosion or mechanical damage. The effects of artificial weathering were not previously known; therefore, a…
Drivers for the cracking of multilayer polyamide‐based backsheets in field photovoltaic modules: In‐depth degradation mapping analysis Open

Analysis on underground water pipes multi-point leakage location method based on distributed optical fiber Open
