BBR | IBB closes Volume 22(1) with another solid and relevant set of original manuscripts, reaffirming its strategic role in promoting the dissemination of scientific knowledge in human health in the Portuguese-speaking world. The journal continues to stand out for its independent character, entirely committed to scientific rigour and continuous dedication to the dissemination of original, high-quality knowledge. In a scenario marked by uncertainty, including in science and knowledge production, and under intense scrutiny by professionals and institutions, BBR | IBB remains a strong, stable and reliable reference. This editorial project was designed to value scientific production in health conceived and created in our common language, considering the dimension of this cultural diaspora. Assuming that health and the sharing of related knowledge are essential for the development of societies. These are distinguishing features that continue to set BBR | IBB apart, actively contributing to the visibility and consolidation of knowledge produced in our language, promoting inclusion, helping development and strengthening ties between communities that also share similar challenges in health, training and health policies.
