Geraldine Batista Roman (born Gerry Batista Roman ; April 23, 1967) is a Filipino journalist and politician who served as the Representative of Bataan's 1st district from 2016 to 2025. She is the first transgender person elected to the Congress of the Philippines.
She was named as one of the 100 Leading Global Thinkers of 2016 by US-based Foreign Policy magazine, and one of the 13 Inspiring Women of 2016 by Time magazine. She has been a member of the Lakas–CMD party since 2020, having previously been a member of the Liberal Party from 2015 to 2017 and PDP-Laban from 2017 to 2020.
