Marty Supreme is a 2025 American sports comedy-drama film directed by Josh Safdie, written by Ronald Bronstein and produced by Safdie and Timothée Chalamet. It stars Chalamet as a character based on the American table tennis player Marty Reisman, with Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A'zion, Kevin O'Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher in supporting roles. Darius Khondji shot the film on 35 mm film, and Safdie's regular collaborator Daniel Lopatin composed its score.
Marty Supreme premiered at the 2025 New York Film Festival on October 6, 2025, and was released in the United States by A24 on December 25, 2025. It received critical acclaim for its direction, screenplay, editing, score, and Chalamet's performance, which was described as "career-best" and "career- defining". It was named one of the top ten films of 2025 by the National Board of Review and the American Film Institute. At the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, it was nominated for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Actor for Chalamet and Best Screenplay for Safdie and Bronstein. It was nominated for three awards at the 32nd Actor Awards, including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
