Description
Vivegam (transl. Prudence) is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Siva. It stars Ajith Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan. The film marks the Tamil debuts of Oberoi and Haasan. The background score and soundtrack were composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while the Cinematography and editing were done by Vetri and Ruben.
Principal photography of the film commenced at Slovenia in August 2016.
Vivegam was released worldwide on 24 August 2017 along with its Telugu dubbed version titled Vivekam and received mixed reviews from critics for its screenwriting, performances (Oberoi's and Aggarwal's) and editing but praising Ajith's performance and Anirudh's music.
