Video Description
A Delaware state trooper was fatally shot during a violent incident inside a DMV office near Wilmington on Tuesday, authorities said. The trooper, working an overtime assignment at the reception desk, was approached by a 44-year-old gunman who opened fire. Despite being wounded, the trooper pushed a nearby employee out of harm’s way before the attacker shot him again. A police officer at the scene confronted the suspect and fatally shot him. Both the trooper and the gunman were taken to hospital, where they later died. The trooper’s identity has not yet been released. Watch
